Andrea Anders

Anders was was born in Madison and grew up in DeForest. However, she is currently living in Los Angeles. In 1993, she graduated from DeForest Area High school in DeForest Wisconsin. She received the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point in 1997. She graduated with a Master's Degree in Fine Arts in 2001 from Rutgers University. Anders was with Matt LeBlanc from 2006 until 2015. The two met on the filming of Joey the sitcom that was cancelled. Anders' brother is director Sean Anders (Sex Drive, Never Been Thawed). In 2001, Anders started her professional career in the theatre. She played Elaine Robinson, the Broadway version of the Graduate's Elaine Robinson. Additionally, she was in On the Jump on the Arena Stage and New Doors at the Guthrie Theater. Anders has also been seen in two New York Stage & Film productions: Cold/Tender as well as New World Rhapsody. In May 2007 Anders was cast in the Geffen Playhouse performance of Fat Pig. Fat Pig, which closed it's doors on July 1, 2007, saw her play the role of Jeannie an accountant. Anders was first discovered on TV in the commercial for Dannon, which aired around 2006 and again during the 1990s. Anders is most well-known for her character Nicole Allen in The Class. The character was the wife of an ex-footballer, Nicole Allen. The two series ended up being cancelled despite her appearance in every episode. Anders was also seen making appearances as a guest on One Life to Live, Law & Order, The Guiding Light and Tru Calling. She appeared in 5 seasons of the HBO drama show Oz in 2003, playing Donna Degenhart. In 2004 she portrayed Heather as Heather in The Stepford Wives. And in 2008, Brandy made a small appearance in Sex Drive as Brandy on Sex Drive. Anders has also played Brandy in the film Sex Drive. Anders appeared in two unfulfilled television pilots. Spellbound was one of them, and News To Me another. Anders has been cast most recently for Better Off Ted. It is an ABC single-camera comedy about a work environment written by Victor Fresco.
