Lis Wiehl, an American journalist and legal analyst who was formerly the Fox News analyst.
She was an adjunct professor in Law at New York Law School and was previously Associate Professor at the University of Washington Law School. Legal commentaries have been provided to National Public Radio and Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She was a regular guest on The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today, The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly and Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl is a Yakima native who graduated from West Valley High School. She earned a bachelor's degree in law from Barnard College (1983), a Masters of Arts in Literary Studies at the University of Queensland (1985) in addition to she earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Harvard Law School (1997).
Wiehl served as prosecutor for the US Attorney's office. She was the legal correspondent for NPR All Things Considered. She was the principal investigating counsel to the Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee, during the impeachment of Clinton. From 1995 until 2001, she was an adjunct professor of law at the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle in which she was the director of the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl is a Fox News analyst since 2001.
